Is love really worth it?

I just really want to know if finding real love is worth all the work? I mean really, is there such a thing as real love? I am sick of seeing these movies and shows that depict people falling in love and over coming all these obsticles to stay together. Does love like that exist? Everytime I think I have found it I get a big ol slap back into reality. My last relationship seemed like that kind of love until they decided it wasn't worth the effort and decided to give up on it. Fight for love and it'll kick your ass! Give up on love and.....? Maybe I'll find out soon enough. Why fall in love if all your ever gonna get is crap... Does anyone fight to make things work anymore or do they give up and decide it was never worth the effort?
